Mimicking Birds headlined at Tap Room at the Market last night.  The mellow indie band directly followed a punk rock band called Mozes and the Furdt Born. Mimicking Birds has three albums to date— a self titled, “Eons,” and most recently “Layers of Us.”  Singer/songwriter Nate Lacy told SXSWGO that their travels as a band influenced “Layers of Us” heavily: “As a whole we continue to advance and broaden the parameters of our senses.”  Mimicking Birds closed with their number one track on Spotify “Bloodlines” from the album “Eons.”
