Men’s soccer losing streak endures with road losses

Men’s soccer continued their losing streak on the road this weekend with two back-to-back losses to St. Mary’s and Texas A&M International.

Topper’s Tribe faced rival St. Mary’s in San Antonio on Sept. 23. St. Edward’s had 11 shots compared to the Rattler’s 9, but the Rattlers capitalized on their scoring opportunities to win the game. The final score was 3-1, St. Mary’s.

Men’s soccer lost to Texas A&M-International in Laredo on Sept. 25 with a final score of 1-0.

Currently, Topper’s Tribe is 3-4 in season play and 1-2 in conference play. The team will face St. Mary’s and Texas A&M-International for a rematch later on in the season.
