Emily Blasdell: Where are you from?

Mary McNamara: I’m from the Woodlands, which is on the outskirts of Houston.

EB:What is your classification?

MM: I’m a second semester freshman. I graduated high school a semester early.

EB: What is your major?

MM: I’m a religious and theological studies major, and I’m trying to decide between a communication minor or a communication double major.

EB: What is your nickname?

MM: Mac because my last name is McNamara.

EB: Who is your favorite Disney character?

MM: My favorite Disney character is Pluto.

EB: What is your favorite quote of all time?

MM: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight.” -Proverbs 3:5-6

EB: What is your favorite spot in Austin?

MM: My favorite place in Austin is on the top of the hill above the soccer field over-looking Austin

MM: Probably a watch

EB: Do you have a ritual you do before every game?

MM: Yes, we do the team shimmy

MM: The Nebraska Cornhuskers

EB: What is your best volleyball memory?

MM: Beating St. Mary’s on their court after losing the first two sets

MM: I’m really not that awkward.
