The Photocommunications department has found a replacement to teach professor Adam Boley’s Photo 1 course after Boley’s death nine days ago due to a car accident. The Photocommunications alumnus had only taught the course for one week.

Laura Barth Turner has been hired as an adjunct professor to replace Boley. She is currently a professor at Texas State University and has over 10 years of teaching experience at the collegiate level. Turner previously taught at the University of Texas, University of Texas at Dallas and Texas Women’s University.

During the week between Boley’s death and Turner’s hiring, photocommunications professor Joe Vitone filled in for the class.
