The St. Edward’s women’s and men’s soccer teams have both worked hard to earn their respective perfect conference records this season. Both teams went 8-0 in Heartland Conference play. Now that the regular season is over they intend to stay focused and take on their next challenge: winning the 2014 Heartland Conference tournament this upcoming weekend. The reward of both teams winning their conference undefeated means that they have won the right host the conference tournament. The top four from both the women’s and men’s conference will play in the tournament, which will be held at the Lewis-Chen Family Field. The women’s team will play their first tournament game on Nov. 6 at noon against St. Mary’s University, and the men’s team will play against Texas A&M International University on Nov. 7 at 2:30 p.m.
