I spent part of my summer in France and, being able to get my hands on all the European products that take a while to hit the US shelves, was spoiled (to say the least) when it came to the nail polish department. My trips to the local grocery store slowly became trips to buy a new color of nail polish when I got bored with the few colors that I had in my room.

Rimmel is one of my favorite drugstore brands, and although they have products here, most of their products come out in Europe first because the company is based in London. While I was in France, they released their new 60 Seconds nail polish line in a variety of über lovely colors. Although they were significantly more expensive than their US counterparts, I left France with four in my possession.

The first color I picked up from France was the shade Rose Libertine––a beautiful, pink blush toned shade that looks classy rather than Barbie, but unfortunately isn’t available in the US. This formula is very long lasting, the brush applicator is spot on and easy to use, and any polish that dries in less than two minutes automatically wins my heart.

Upon returning to the US, I was pretty sad when I found out that these polishes weren’t out yet. After some research, I discovered that they were supposed to come out, but the release date was unknown. Sigh.

It wasn’t until a couple of weeks ago while shopping at Walmart that I made the breakthrough discovery that they’re finally here! Although the amount of shades is significantly less than what was available in France, I can’t complain. There were about eight different shades to choose from and, upon perusing the selection, my eyes went straight for this greenish gray shade called Sage All the Rage. Cute, huh?

Although I’m a huge fan of dark nail polishes come Autumn, I thought this color was a great alternative from my usual blacks and navys when I feel like changing things up a bit.

Besides the great formula and lovely color, the best part is how much I paid for it. You can pick up these bad boys at Walmart for a mere $1.50. That’s a winner in my book.
