The St. Edward’s Rugby team (10-0-1) continues to play strong after defeating two powerhouse schools in two weeks. The Rams faced Texas Tech in Lubbock on Nov. 12 and Texas A&M Nov. 18 at Burr Field in Austin.

The Texas Tech game was a nail biter. The St. Edward’s Rams won the game in the final minute of play off a conversion by sophomore Andor Beni.

Throughout the game, St. Edward’s faced a worthy opponent in Tech, but also in the harsh weather conditions of west Texas. High winds and dust devils swarmed the players throughout the game.
