“In mid-September the “Occupy Wall Street” movement began in downtown Manhattan, sparking a fire that would soon spread across the country. On October 6th the “Occupy Austin” demonstration began at the Austin City Hall in downtown. Hundreds of people gathered to share thoughts, frustrations, and ultimately discuss the imbalance of power and wealth in American society. The “Occupy Wall Street” movement is in its fourth week, setting the bar for “Occupy Austin”.”
