Austin bands unite for Bastrop relief

The fires that swept through Central Texas over the past few weeks left thousands of acres destroyed and thousands of people without shelter or necessities.  Since then, many Austin groups and businesses have been doing their part to aid these victims.  On Sept. 15, musicians and music lovers gathered together at the 29th Street Spiderhouse Ballroom to show their support for those affected by the wildfires.

“The bands were really good, and the fact that all of it was to help people in need in span data-scayt_word=”Bastrop” data-scaytid=”18″Bastrop/span made the night even better,” span data-scayt_word=”Nalley” data-scaytid=”19″Nalley/span said.  /p

That sentiment seemed to be the feeling of everyone at “Music for span data-scayt_word=”Bastrop”” data-scaytid=”20″>Bastrop” as they shared a night of music, food and fun.
