Dan Savage’s “It Gets Better” campaign has been highly praised by LGBT activists and celebrities alike. Well-known actors and musicians, as well as regular people, uploaded a collection of videos to YouTube in the hopes of reaching out to young people. Each video features stories of how people overcame bullying and prejudice to go on to lead fulfilling lives as openly homosexual adults.  They’re very inspiring and, personally, I got choked up when I saw the Pixar one.
