This past Sunday marked the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centers, and the Multicultural Leadership Board, along with several other student organizations, including Black and Hispanic Heritage organizations, is commemorating it with a week of activities and programs.  

Remembering the events that took place is not the only goal – MLB leader Zac Peal says that the events are also intended to raise awareness about different cultures in the United States and what it means to be an American in a post-terrorist attack country with so many different cultures.
