Beef with Huddle’s Burritos

Dear the Huddle,

Let’s face it—lately the burritos have been bulging, sloppy messes that fall apart when

eaten.

I will never forget the day you announced the newly extended hours, and how grateful I

was to learn that you would always be there to ease my late-night hunger cravings.

I was so proud when you opened your doors to the student jazz band Steady to lend them

your stage on Thursday nights, and again to Mariachi Alas de Oros on Wednesdays.

We used to be close, but lately we’ve grown apart. Your burritos just can’t keep it

together. The fillings just slip out, away from the grasp of the loosely rolled tortilla. Your

customers hesitate and have a hard time when they see you. I know I can just walk next

door to Hunt Hall Café for a more stable dining experience.

Huddle, I want to help you help yourself. I’ll give you a few constructive pointers, and

it’s up to you to change your behavior from here.

Remember to spread the fillings evenly in a line down the center of the tortilla. People

like a little variety in a mouthful of burrito, not just a bit of tortilla and guac.

Fold one of the long sides over the top of the filling before even touching the ends of the

tortilla. The tighter the fold, the better the hold.

Leave at least an inch on either side of the burrito contents so there is enough room to

fold the sides over tightly. You CAN utilize the full power of the tortilla!

Sincerely,

Kristina
